Sales Engineer – Industrial Interface & Connectors

The Role Reporting to the National Sales Manager who is based at Head Office in Penrose. The main emphasis of the role is to manage a well-established clients base of OEMs', consultants, distributors and end users combined with driving new business from Penrose to Pokeno. Ideally you will have knowledge or experience from within the electrical automation sector or possess a technical aptitude and a synergy for electrical products. Responsibilities Manage an existing customer while looking to develop new business opportunities Monitor competitor activity Ensure customers are updated with new product developments and promotionsMaintain actuate records in the CRM system, combined with regular and actuate reporting to managementCrete and implement a plan to increase share of wallet in given sales territory.Skills & Experience Proven sales background in the Electrical Engineering field or a technical aptitude with a synergy for electrical productsPossess strong communication skills, written and spoken EnglishCan work autonomously or as part of a teamStrong relationship building skills, combined with the ability to do presentationsBe commercially savvyThe Company Connecting, distributing, and controlling power and data flows - we have been developing the right products for this purpose since 1923.
