About The Role: Our client is seeking a positive, friendly and experienced sales engineer in ductwork or associated products for this autonomous and challenging role where your technical skills and sales acumen can shine. Alternatively, you may be from a ductwork/HVAC trades background and seeking a career shift into sales where you can utilise your great communication and outgoing personality. This is an opportunity to make a real impact in the HVAC industry by driving demand and trust in our innovative ductwork products working in a collaborative environment that supports your professional growth and success.
Key Responsibilities: Building excellent relationships with a diverse mix of stakeholders, ducting contractors/installers and end users.
Drive demand and foster relationships to deliver exceptional service to clients.
Work to a sales budget, achieving sales and margin targets through contract tendering, bid management, and the development of new and existing business relationships.
Liaise effectively with sales team colleagues and the manufacturing team to ensure seamless delivery of world-class products and services.
What we are ideally seeking: A friendly positive attitude
Ideally tertiary qualification in mechanical engineering or relevant work experience
3+ years of proven experience in the HVAC/Ductwork/mechanical industry
A good understanding of technical drawings
Contract tendering, bid management experience
Experience in the use of engineering software
Possess excellent English, communication and negotiation skills with a positive attitude and results focused
Ability to work autonomously and in a team environment
A passion for innovation and driving change
