We foster a culture of idea-sharing and empowerment, encouraging our people to lead initiatives that positively impact our business, community, and members.About The RoleWe're searching for a Sales Development Team Leader to lead and inspire a high performing team of up to 10 Sales Development Representatives (SDR). Reporting to the Sales Development Manager, your day-to-day will look something like this:Coaching and developing your team:Provide direct mentorship and coaching to SDRs, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.Conduct regular 1:1s, performance reviews, and development plans to track progress, provide constructive feedback, and address any challenges.Identify coaching opportunities to enhance the team's effectiveness through conducting quality assurance checks.Driving strategic growth, innovation and resourcing:Collaborate with the other SDR Team Leaders and the Sales Development Manager to streamline processes, analyse trends and implement changes.Work on strategic initiatives (e.g. improving our reporting capabilities or evaluating KPIs and career development opportunities for the team) to enhance the overall performance of the sales development team.Supporting with recruitment and training of new team members.Building strong relationships internally and externally:Cultivate strong relationships with key stakeholders across the business to foster collaboration and support.Effectively handle escalations when needed, maintaining a calm and professional demeanour.What Sets You ApartWe are looking for a people-focused leader who has a clear passion and motivation for growing and developing others. The skills and experience that will help you succeed:2+ years of contact centre leadership experience, directly managing and developing a Sales team.Previous experience selling products or services over the phone and working with internal IT systems and CRMs.A background in a highly regulated environment where compliance is essential, preferably in financial services.Demonstrated ability to build a positive and trusting team culture.Strong communication skills to be able to adapt messages to different audiences, whether it is a colleague, a third party, or a customer.High levels of emotional intelligence to understand team members' motivations, empathise with their needs, and handle difficult conversations.Why This is The Place for YouOur culture is what sets us apart.
