Role: Sales Development Representative
Location: Ideal location would be at the HO in Nelson, however, the best candidate will be chosen over location.
Type: Full-Time. We operate flexible hours, focusing on value creation ahead of time spent at your desk.

We are seeking an ambitious, dynamic and entrepreneurial Sales Development Representative to join our quickly growing team, holding responsibility as the client 'face' of our business and contributing to our continued growth journey.
The Role:
You will work closely with an experienced Head of Growth to grow the business and provide first-rate service to our clients and the wider FundTap team. A large part of your role will be to effectively and efficiently guide clients through the FundTap customer journey. As we are an automated, online-first business, your ability to quickly build relationships and influence behaviours through effective phone, video, and written communication will be key to your success.
We are looking for someone who will grow with the business and take on further responsibilities as their experience and skillset grow.
Above all, you will add to the existing FundTap culture to ensure an effective and fun work environment. You will enjoy working proactively and be looking to improve yourself and the business whenever the chance presents itself.
Our head office is in the sunny, idyllic town of Nelson. You will have the chance to work both from the office and from home with the sole consideration being your ability to work efficiently.
Your Ideal Skillset:
A self-starter who takes the initiative and learns quickly
Team player that contributes to wider business success
Excellent verbal (phone and/or video) & written communication skills
Demonstrated success with influencing customer behaviour
A proven passion for continuous improvement
A desire to align the growth of FundTap with their own personal growth and reputation
Experience selling in to the SME market
Proven hunter for new business with a track record of success
Knowledge of, or the intelligence to gain an understanding of financial statements
