About the Role We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Sales Coordinator to join our Christchurch team. This role is perfect for someone new to sales and looking for an exciting opportunity to kickstart their career in a safe and supportive environment where you can learn and grow! The key areas of focus for the Sales Coordinator are: Undertake cold calls every week Contact existing customers every week Qualify all Customer Service Team leads and either sign them up or pass them on to the Sales Representative Identify sales opportunities for new and existing customers Provide weekly reporting Attend and contribute to Sales Meetings This role is responsible for the proactive lead generation and management of new customers. The Sales Coordinator will be the first point of contact for customers looking to buy our courier services and will be responsible for the company's new client care programs. The Sales Coordinator will be required to actively identify ways to improve the retention rate of existing customers and they will also use their strong communication skills and sales techniques to up-sell whenever possible. This role will be part of a well-established, high functioning team that will be there to support the right candidate every step of the way! About you The successful candidate will show initiative, communication, and problem-solving skills, to be able to respond effectively to the needs of the business and customers.
