We currently have an opportunity for a Sales Consultant for the Whakatane/Opotiki area. You can live within the BOP region and would be based out of our Rotorua Branch. This is a prime opportunity for a career-minded person looking to advance themselves in a fast-moving and competitive environment.
Experience and understanding in, or exposure to the Agricultural/Horticultural equipment industry, its seasonal demands and modern machinery operation is a must. As important is the desire to work hard and be part of a team that is focused on building great relationships and providing quality service. You will be responsible for the end-to-end ownership of the sales process, from prospecting new customers to retaining existing customers. You will play a key role in achieving sales revenue and market share targets by quoting, selling and installing new and used agricultural equipment.

What you will have: Minimum 3 years experience in a sales role. A genuine passion for the Agricultural/Horticultural industry. Understanding (and experience) of tractors & machinery, their uses and requirements for farming and contracting. A proven sales focus and a history of reaching & exceeding targets. A high degree of honesty and personal integrity. The ability to operate with minimal supervision, including 'cold calling'. The ability to manage and operate within a territory. Excellent language/organisational/communication skills. The ability to network well, build strong relationships and have a strong customer focus.
