About the role We are currently seeking an experienced Sales Professional to join our Mount Maunganui team. Your primary focus will be on building strong customer relationships and selling a diverse range of flooring solutions. You'll have the opportunity to engage with customers both in our showroom and in their homes during measure and quote appointments, ensuring a dynamic work environment. You will also have the opportunity to cross-sell with our readymade curtains which will broaden your offering to your customers. Any great salesman will know that weekends are the busiest, reap the rewards of working a Tuesday to Saturday roster. Key Skills and Responsibilities In this role, you will work closely with customers from the initial consultation to the post-installation check-up. Therefore, we are seeking someone who values the complete customer experience and strives to deliver the best solution for our customers. Follow up on customer leads Measure and estimate flooring requirements, and develop detailed plans Provide cost estimates, quotes, and close sales Consult and sell readymade window furnishings Maintain point of sale (POS) and inventory databases Foster excellent staff relations between flooring installers, office, and shop staff Follow up with customers after installation to ensure satisfaction Meet or exceed sales targets Keep up-to-date with technical product knowledge You will have Previous experience in sales, experience in flooring industry is strongly desirable. Exceptional ability to develop strong relationships and maintain a strong customer-centric approach.
