About the Role
We are currently seeking an experienced Sales Professional to join our Pukekohe team. Your primary focus will be on building strong customer relationships and selling a diverse range of flooring solutions. You'll have the opportunity to engage with customers both in our showroom and in their homes during measure and quote appointments, ensuring a dynamic work environment. You will also have the opportunity to cross-sell with our readymade curtains which will broaden your offering to your customers.
Any great salesman will know that weekends are the busiest, however we all love a great work-life balance, so reap the rewards of both by working a Tuesday – Saturday roster.
Key Skills and Responsibilities
In this role, you will work closely with customers from the initial consultation to the post-installation check-up. Therefore, we are seeking someone who values the complete customer experience and strives to deliver the best solution for our customers.
Deliver exceptional customer service by addressing client inquiries and providing accurate product information.
Assist clients with product selection and guide them through the sales process to meet their needs.
Measure client premises and scale plans accurately for quotes and orders.
Generate and follow up on sales leads to convert opportunities into successful sales.
Prepare and send quotes, ensuring timely and accurate documentation.
Handle post-sale follow-ups and resolve customer complaints in a professional and timely manner.
Maintain a clean and organized showroom and manage stock, samples, and displays.
Meet or exceed sales targets.
Keep up-to-date with technical product knowledge.
You Will Have
A strong track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets in a similar role. (Experience in the flooring industry is strongly desirable but not necessary)
Demonstrated ability to deliver outstanding service, manage client expectations, and handle complaints with tact and efficiency.
Experience with sales systems and software, such as RFMS/POS/CRM, or a willingness to learn new systems.
Strong verbal and written skills.
NZ Driver's licence is a must.
