Due to growth, we have an Exhibition Sales position available for an experienced Sales Consultant. Based in Rosedale on Auckland's North Shore, we are looking for someone to join us in prospecting for new clients and maintaining relationships with our existing customers while growing our events and exhibitions.If you take pride in doing a great job and want to work where your sales skills will be valued, then this role could be for you. We will continue to create great experiences that surprise and inspire them and help them discover the great brands and companies that we work with.We love to be first, respect everyone we work with, take total ownership for our work, and celebrate our successes along the way.Qualifications & Experience RequiredPhone-based sales - minimum 2 years sales experienceExcellent phone mannerProfessional presentation for face-to-face client meetingsProven track record in prospecting for new clientsProven track record in achieving targetsSales experience in travel & tourism and/or exhibitions is an advantageCompetent in Word, Outlook, CRMExcellent written and oral English and attention to detailKnowledge of the wine and food industriesExperience in events is an advantageTasks & ResponsibilitiesYour primary focus will be to work alongside the existing team to reach out to new customers and sell event-based marketing solutions and exhibition stands.You will need to focus on achieving targets and KPIs while creating the best result for clients and the company.You will be expected to be confident on the phone and willing to make outbound calls on a daily basis.You will be responsible for updating the CRM system meticulously.As a small team, you will be welcomed to contribute ideas for enhancing our systems and events.As Lemongrass is an event company, you may be rostered to work at our events alongside your colleagues, assuming a variety of roles including looking after clients and assisting in event management.
