Sales Associate

As the Sales Associate, you will be the brand ambassador and a smiling face of DFS. You will work in the most important role on the sales floor, being the first direct conduit between our Products and our Customers. You will build customer loyalty and relationships while challenging yourself with sales and productivity targets.
Selling via the Best Customer ExperienceAssist customers in selecting, purchasing, and refunding merchandise while demonstrating excellence in customer service.Complete customer transactions in a professional and timely manner.Identify customer temperaments and recommend products that suit their style.Respond to customer queries and complaints in a polite and courteous manner; refer to the Manager on Duty if appropriate.Assist other sales staff in peak periods to ensure customers in all areas are attended to promptly, minimizing waiting time.Floor and Product PresentationEnsure floor presentation meets or exceeds brand and DFS requirements.Maintain reasonable stock levels of all merchandise in the department.Be familiar with the store layout; direct customers to merchandise, services, and facilities as appropriate.Assist the Management team in the coordination and execution of merchandising activities, e.g., inventory management, promotional activities, and merchandise stock flow.Ideal CandidateHigh School diploma or equivalent, or an equivalent combination of education and work experience sufficient to perform the essential functions of the job.Minimum 1 year's sales or cashiering experience in a retail environment.Proficient with handling a POS register machine.Able to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.High energy level, with a positive approach to job and group responsibilities.Ability to work flexible hours/shifts, including weekends, nights, and holidays. Able to work overtime hours when necessary.Fluency in English language and other language(s) as required by location.Secondary language speaking beneficial, but not required.DFS is an equal opportunity employer.
