JOB DESCRIPTION Position Summary: This role encompasses the provision of excellence in customer service to ensure we meet and exceed customer expectations and maximize sales opportunities by creating and maintaining customer loyalty.
Position Purpose: To be a proactive member of the retail store team.
Ensure that customers leave the store with a positive experience and a desire to return, feeling that they have been given true advice and believe in the products they have purchased.
To support the company whilst at work and outside of hours.
To actively participate in all retail staff meetings and training sessions.
Responsibilities: Actively selling product on the shop floor.
Actively participating in all company promotions/activities, as required.
Housekeeping duties including general cleaning and maintenance of the store as appropriate.
Maintaining a high level of goodwill with any person that may directly or indirectly affect the success of the store.
Supporting fully all Company and Retail initiatives and ensuring the smooth running of the store and showing support for all retail and company policies and procedures.
Involved in store maintenance.
Visual merchandising – adhering to guidelines where appropriate.
Being involved in the security of the store.
Working as part of a team.
Identifying customer needs.
Meeting or exceeding customer service expectations for timeliness and quality.
Supporting and sharing team workload.
Flexible working hours to meet the needs of customers and the store.
Highly developed skills in communication.
To be able to operate effectively with limited direction and exercise initiative and judgment within the parameters of your responsibilities.
Provide expert advice, support and assistance to Customers on matters relating to products and company history.
To be able to use criticism and feedback as a tool for self-education and training purposes.
High motivation levels and the ability to pass on that motivation to colleagues and customers.
To always represent the Company and set the standard, through example, to customers and colleagues.
