Animates is New Zealand's leading pet care company with 46 pet specialty retail stores, 28 grooming salons, 15 vet clinics and growing!As part of our busy New Plymouth store, you'll enjoy being part of a close-knit team and have easy access to public transport.We are looking for a Sales Assistant to work on a full-time basis (31 hours per week), over a fixed term period until 25 July 2025, to provide cover for a team member who is on secondment.Hours will be as follows:Tuesdays: 10.30am - 4.30pmThursdays: 10.30am - 5.30pmFridays: 8am - 4.00pmSaturdays: 10.30am - 4.00pmWhat will I be doing?This isn't your regular customer service role. Here at Animates, the advice you give and the products you sell make a real difference to the lives of pets.Our values-led culture and extensive training will develop your expertise to provide specialist nutrition advice, suggest educational toys and know what fish species make good tank-mates + much more!
