As part of a small team of Department Managers reporting through to our Assistant Store Manager you will enjoy the benefits of a wider support network both in store and regionally.
As the Sales and Service Manager you will: Drive department sales and take full ownership for the teams sales performanceManage, coach, develop and motivate team to exceed sales budgetsLiaise with VM to ensure all visual elements (banners, windows, hot spots) are in place, on time before store openingDrive a customer service culture across departments by ensuring high levels of customer serviceImplement & communicate promotional plans for upcoming eventsWhat we are looking for in our ideal candidate: 2+ years' experience in a similar position (Store Manager small store or Department Manager medium to large store)Strong sales coaching competence - proven ability in coaching for sales improvementExcellent team management experience - can motivate and coach a team to improve sales resultsWhat's on offer: A fantastic opportunity to join a well known New Zealand retail brandA generous staff discount package across the Farmers and James Pascoe GroupOngoing training and development to help you achieve your career objectivesThis is a permanent full-time role and will involve weekend work and flexibility for early starts and late nights as part of the management roster.
