Worldwide Trading Limited, one of New Zealand's leading importing and retail companies based in Auckland, is seeking a skilled Sales and Marketing Manager to join our team.
In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of sales and marketing. Your duties will include:
Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Planning & Market Analysis:Develop and implement comprehensive marketing and sales strategies to achieve corporate objectives, focusing on the retail of imported products in New Zealand.Analyse market trends, consumer behaviour, and the competitive landscape to identify growth opportunities and optimize product positioning and pricing strategies.
Sales Management:Oversee the development and execution of sales plans, including setting sales targets and forecasting demand for imported products.Manage and nurture relationships with key accounts, distributors, and other sales channels to drive growth and ensure market penetration.
Marketing Campaigns & Promotions:Plan, execute, and monitor marketing campaigns across various platforms, including digital, print, and in-store promotions, to enhance brand visibility and product demand.Ensure that all marketing activities align with the company's overall strategy and contribute to achieving sales objectives.
Brand Positioning & Market Communication:Ensure consistent brand messaging across all marketing channels to strengthen the company's market position.Coordinate with external PR agencies as needed, ensuring alignment with overall marketing strategies.
Budget Management & Cost Control:Develop and manage the marketing budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources and cost-effective marketing initiatives.Monitor and report on the financial performance of marketing and sales activities, making necessary adjustments to meet financial goals.
Product Development & Launch:Collaborate with product development teams to introduce new imported products, ensuring they align with market needs and comply with local regulations.Coordinate product launches with sales teams, channel partners, and media to maximize their impact.
Team Leadership & Development:Lead and guide the marketing and sales teams, ensuring they have the skills and knowledge to effectively execute strategies.Foster a collaborative work environment that encourages innovation and continuous improvement in marketing and sales practices.
Compliance & Reporting:Ensure all marketing and sales activities comply with relevant New Zealand regulations, including advertising standards and consumer protection laws.Prepare and present regular reports on marketing performance, sales trends, and market analysis to senior management.
Customer Relationship Management:Develop and maintain strong customer relationships to ensure satisfaction with imported products and services.Implement feedback mechanisms to continuously improve product offerings and customer satisfaction.
Miscellaneous Duties:Perform additional duties as required by the director, contributing to the overall growth and success of the business.

Compensation and Benefits:

Pay Rate: $63.50 – $65.00 per hour
Guaranteed Hours per Week: Minimum 30 hours

Requirements:

At least three years of relevant work experience or a Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, International Business, or a related field.
Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to effectively manage relationships with clients and partners.
Familiarity with the business environment and the ability to develop and implement strategies that meet market demands.
Leadership and management experience, with the ability to motivate and guide team members.
Proven success in sales leadership roles, focusing on driving revenue growth.
Candidates must be New Zealand citizens or residents.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $63.50 – $65.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 30 per week
