Sales & Executive Assistant needed for a top NZ manufacturer. Key duties: customer service, sales support, marketing, freight management, & reporting. 19th August, 2024 We are recruiting for a well-established New Zealand-based manufacturer with over 50 years in the industry, specialising in wire and underlay products for the rural and construction sectors. Known for their dedication to excellence, this company is a key player in both domestic and export markets. Role Overview: We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Assistant to support the sales team and enhance customer service as well as working alongside the executive team. This role is essential in allowing the teams to concentrate on client visits while ensuring exceptional service and preparation. Key Responsibilities: Customer Service: Manage emails, provide pricing, handle inbound calls, verify and enter orders into Exonet, and manage consignments and returns. Executive Support: Provide high-level administrative support to executives, managing schedules, coordinating meetings, handling correspondence, and ensuring efficient office operations. Sales Support: Plan sales team call schedules, organise travel, book appointments, prepare reports and presentations, support post-meeting follow-ups, update CRM, manage customer proposals, and account management. Reporting: Complete daily, weekly, and monthly sales reports, send stock reports to customers, and create quarterly reports in PowerPoint. Marketing Support: Oversee promotional gifts and clothing, coordinate marketing materials, assemble product sample packs, and organise events and plant tours. Requirements: Minimum 3 years of experience in a customer service, executive assistant, or sales support role. Strong organisational and communication skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. Understanding of geographical localities preferred. Ability to handle multiple tasks and work under pressure. Exonet knowledge is highly regarded. Experience in construction, roofing, or wire products is a plus.
