To do this we need a Sales and Business Development leader with a passion for their work and proven ability to develop outstanding client relationships leading to increased sales.You will be working to identify and contact key stakeholders, including purchasers and influencers within the ports and waterways around the world, who are likely targets for our products and services.Duties and ResponsibilitiesThe role is to build and maintain relationships with key customers, prospects and distributors. It demands the following (among other) critical skills and attributes:Ability to work as a team member who interacts well with the rest of the teamAble to build business relationships with customers, colleagues and suppliersBuild and manage our agent and distributer networkProven Sales and Business Development experienceExcellent verbal and written communication skillsAbility to travel and promote the company and its products to key stakeholders via a variety of methods such as direct communication and through conferencesDisciplined approach to maintaining and recording communications and planned actions via our company's CRMAbility to plan effectively, organise work, deal with competing demands.As part of your role, you will be helping with product development by working with the R&D team to incorporate customer product needs into our regular product updates and new products. Also, you will interact with our existing Marketing Manager to obtain the market intelligence on potential future market opportunities and design promotional campaigns, including trade show attendance and digital marketing initiatives.This is a great role for someone who is keen to work flexible hours in a dynamic environment for an export focused company.
