The Role Imperial Brands is seeking a highly motivated and analytical Sales Analyst to join our dynamic team in New Zealand. The role is based in Petone, New Zealand and reports to the Trade Marketing and Operations Manager within a close-knit team.
As a Sales and Trade Marketing Analyst, you will be instrumental in providing critical insights, supporting sales strategies, and ensuring the successful execution of sales initiatives. A keen interest in data and insights is critical.
Principle Accountabilities Data Analysis & Reporting: Analyse sales data to provide actionable insights and trends. Working closely with the Senior Sales Analyst, create and maintain detailed reports that guide business decisions and help optimise sales strategies.Sales Strategy Support: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support the development of sales strategies. Track sales performance, identify opportunities for improvement, and suggest data-driven solutions to meet sales goals.Projects: Support the end-to-end process of sales-related projects, ensuring they are executed on time and aligned with overall business objectives.Stakeholder Management: Build strong relationships with key internal teams to ensure alignment of sales targets and initiatives. Provide analytical support to facilitate decision-making.Continuous Improvement: Actively contribute to improving sales operations, processes, and tools to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.Skills and Experience Required 3-5 years of experience in a sales analyst or similar role, preferably within FMCG, trade marketing, or sales management and/or a relevant tertiary degree.Advanced skills in data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, SalesForce, SAP) and business intelligence platforms.Strong time management skills, ability to prioritise.Communication skills, with the ability to present data insights clearly.Resilient, adaptable, results-driven, thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.Problem-solving abilities and the capacity to think critically and strategically.What We Offer In return for playing your part in building our future, you will receive a comprehensive compensation package with salary, bonus scheme and many extras, generous holiday entitlement and hybrid/flexible working opportunities.
