A South Island based company with a great reputation are growing and are looking for a new Sales Account Manager to join the team. The patch will be Mid to South of the North Island including the Nelson region and involves travel and working away from home on a regular basis.
The company supply equipment to the Decorative, Industrial, Automotive and Marine painting trades. This is a newly established role, providing support to existing clients and developing opportunities for additional sales which will develop the Lower North Island market.
Job Description:
As a Sales Account Manager, you will identify potential customers, establish relationships, service clients and close sales. You will be a self-starter with excellent people skills, focused on delivering results.
Responsibilities:
Identify and reach out to potential customers in your assigned territoryConduct product presentations and demonstrations to potential customersDevelop and maintain strong relationships with customersMeet or exceed monthly and annual sales targetsProvide feedback to the company on customer needs and preferencesKeep up-to-date with industry trends and competitor activities Qualifications:
Minimum of 3 years of sales experience, preferably B2BProven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targetsExcellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skillsStrong organisational and time-management skillsAbility to build and retain relationships easilySelf-motivated and able to work independentlyWillingness to travel and meet clients and attend industry eventsProficient in Microsoft Office and ERP & CRM softwareResults orientated, and a strong desire to exceed targets Benefits:
