A unique opportunity is now available in our national sales team for an innovative individual to account manage an existing portfolio of retail customers, identify and develop new business opportunities, and contribute to brand and market planning.
Successful applicants should have one or more of the following skills or experience: Passion for the outdoors and adventure: A deep enthusiasm for outdoor activities and adventure that aligns with the brands we represent.
Proven experience in sales and account management: Demonstrated success in managing accounts and driving sales, with a track record of meeting or exceeding targets.
Face-to-face engagement: A love for being out in the field, meeting clients in person, and understanding their needs to tailor solutions that drive sales.
Relationship-building expertise: A natural ability to build and maintain trust-based relationships with customers, fostering long-term partnerships.
Sales-driven mindset: A strong motivation to achieve sales growth, with a focus on identifying and capitalising on new business opportunities.
In this role, you can expect to: Foster trust-based relationships at all levels of our customers' businesses and learn how to best help them achieve results.
Drive total sales through regular customer engagement both digitally and in person.
Leverage CRM tools to maintain a consistent call cycle and customer contact plan.
Contribute to and execute brand marketing plans and activities.
Develop sales proposals and negotiate mutually beneficial outcomes.
Explore new and increased business opportunities by identifying trends, making market observations, and analysing data to achieve growth and targeted KPIs.
Based in Lower Hutt, Wellington, this role requires regular travel throughout New Zealand.
