About the role
We are looking for a positive 'people person' with a health and safety qualification, who can communicate effectively across a range of audiences. We are also looking for someone who can provide guidance and advice on a wide range of risks, as well as lead our Safety and Wellness team. No two days are the same in this role: the team leader will be involved in tasks such as event investigations or learning teams, critical risk reviews, contractor management and providing internal training and leadership. This role reports to the People, Safety and Wellness Manager and leads a team of two coordinators. About you
Our ideal candidate will have:
At least 3-5 years' relevant experience
A relevant qualification(s) in Health and Safety
Confidence in dealing with people at all levels of the organisation
Excellent relationship management and interpersonal skills
Interest in getting out on site to see how 'work is done'
Full driver's licence.
