The Asia-Pacific region currently includes Australia, New Zealand, Vietnam, Sri Lanka and Singapore employing nearly 2,500 team members..About the Role:As a Safety Advisor, you will support our South Island team to foster a best practice safety culture.
Reporting to the Regional Safety Manager, NZ, you will work with the team to ensure specific safety targets are achieved and support in the development of safety initiatives and programmes.You will work closely with our leaders to integrate safety into every aspect of our operations, provide guidance to maintain compliance with the Health and Safety at Work Act 2015 and other relevant regulations.Key Responsibilities include:Drive a strong health and safety culture within the business and ensure all health and safety policies and practices are adhered to.Build and foster strong internal relationships with leaders, staff and key stakeholders to promote best practice of health and safety.Positively promote reporting of events and provide support where required to ensure investigations and corrective actions are timely completed.Continuously coach and educate leaders and team members in systems and process that promote safety to enhance our culture.Assist in the implementation of strategies to ensure continuous improvement safety in the workplace.The ideal candidate will have:Experience in advising, influencing and developing relationshipsSound knowledge and practical experience of best practice in NZ health and safety legislation, policy and process.Excellent collaboration skillsGood experience with health and safety systems and processesIn return Lineage offers a positive work environment, where all people are treated fairly and equitably, with ongoing training and development, and appropriate remuneration.Applications close 5pm on Sunday 29 September 2024Why Lineage?
