We are looking for a dedicated specialist to join our winning team to design and deliver safeguarding outcomes for rugby in New Zealand. The Safeguarding Lead will implement a national plan to safeguard children, young people, and adults in rugby. Working closely with regional rugby bodies, clubs, and internal and external stakeholders, the Safeguarding Lead will design and deliver strategic initiatives that strengthen a culture of safety and respect throughout the rugby system, and raise the profile of safeguarding as a core issue for rugby in New Zealand.To be successful in this role you will have:Strong commitment to the welfare and safety of children, young people, and adults.Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate and build trust across diverse groups.Ability to build and maintain highly effective relationships.Communication & facilitation: Ability to present and explain complex ideas or information with simplicity.Previous experience:Minimum 5 years working in a relevant field (Sport and recreation, social/community, health & wellbeing, justice).Proven programme management and development skills.Experience working cross culturally and in a way that respects Te Tiriti o Waitangi.What We Offer (benefits)Learn & Grow Your Career | Hybrid Work OptionsReceive Rugby Tickets | Sports Apparel | DiscountsWellbeing | 5 weeks Annual Leave | Social ClubApply NowIf you are looking to join a fantastic group of people and think you have what it takes, then don't delay, submit your CV and cover letter now!
