We're a New Zealand company taking the nutritious goodness of our miniature apples to the world — and we're looking for a new rock(it) star to lead our S&OP team!
We're a brand in growth mode, with big plans for the next few years, and you will be right at the heart of it. You'll bring a positive attitude and an export-sized energy level, leading the S&OP team to have robust processes and cross-functional participation to optimise Rockit's global demand and supply.
The Role Reporting to the CFO, you will work closely with your sales and operations colleagues actively contributing to the future planning of Rockit supply to the world. You will oversee the global coordination of fruit supply to meet demand from grower, through operations and into supply. You will be a key person in identifying ways to optimise end-to-end supply chain.
Key Responsibilities: Manage the S&OP process for Rockit Global Ltd.Measure, control and improve S&OP accuracy using a balanced scorecard.Efficiently phase new product development into the S&OP cycle.Support the planning & delivery of demand planning, crop forecasting, production planning, inventory & logistics functions.Develop budgets and plans in line with the strategy and timed against Rockit's annual processes.Skills and Experience: Tertiary qualification in business or commerce.5-10 years' experience in Supply Chain (demand planning, supply planning, inventory planning or related supply chain management function).Proven ability to build and maintain productive cross-functional relationships.Experience managing S&OP process and effective engagement with stakeholders up and down supply chain.Experience with planning and analytical tools such as Oracle, SAP or similar.Experience leading a team and building a high-performance culture.Ability to lead and deliver strategic and continuous improvement projects.Data driven with demonstrated ability to analyse and resolve problems and high degree of technology literacy particularly with Excel (including pivot tables).Strong analytical, organisational, and decision-making skills.Capable of influencing and driving decisions through the S&OP process.Experience in horticultural (or primary industry) role.Understanding of the fruit supply-chain process from harvest to customer delivery.Industry knowledge of fruit specifications and market access requirements.This is a fantastic opportunity to join a friendly and professional team, based at our site in Hanui Road, Hastings.
