Rural Planning Consultant Job In New Zealand

Fonterra is seeking a rural planning consultant to join their team in Hamilton, Waikato, New Zealand.
The ideal candidate will have the ability to manage farms and provide guidance on best practices in farming including crop management, livestock care, and sustainable farming techniques.

The candidate is responsible for assisting farmers in understanding and complying with agricultural regulations and policies.
This full-time position offers a competitive salary ranging from $55,000 to $60,000 per year.
Applicants must have a degree in agriculture, agribusiness, or animal science and the ability to provide training and resources to promote safe farming practices.
Qualifications for Rural Planning Consultant: Candidates must have a degree in agriculture, agribusiness, or environmental science.
Experience in farm management, sustainable agriculture, and business administration.
Experience in advisory roles, especially those involving direct interaction with farmers and agricultural stakeholders.
Knowledge of farm economics, budgeting, financial planning, and access to funding.
Capability to organize and conduct training sessions, workshops, and seminars.
Responsibilities for Rural Planning Consultant: Provide guidance and advice to farmers on best practices in farming including crop management, livestock care, and sustainable farming techniques.
Assist farmers in understanding and complying with agricultural regulations and policies.
Build and maintain strong relationships with farmers, understanding their needs and concerns.
Facilitate communication and collaboration among farmers to foster a sense of community and shared learning.
