Rural Hospital Generalist Medical Officer - Ashburton

We are seeking a Rural Hospital Medical Specialist or someone who has comparable experience to join us in Ashburton. This role is a 0.6 FTE position for 1 year to cover parental leave. In this role you will be overseeing the Acute Assessment Unit and managing your Teams' patients on the Wards. Support of our RMO's is integral to this role. You will be involved in our RMO training curriculum using our state-of-the-art Simulation Suite, leading training sessions and supervising. You will work in a collaborative partnership with both the hospital and wider community services. Ashburton & Rural Health Services provides a range of inpatient, day patient, outpatient, and community-based health services to the community.
