Position: Resource Teacher - Primary and Intermediate (Years 1–8) / Kura Tuatahi Subjects: English, Health and Physical Education, Learning Languages, Mathematics and Statistics, Science, Social Sciences, Technology, Te Reo Maori, The Arts Salary: 1MU + SDA The Twin Coast RTLB, Cluster 3, is seeking an innovative, forward-thinking professional to join its RTLB team. The applicant must be a fully registered NZ teacher. Strength in supporting students with anxiety and behaviour problems is vital. Experience in a small country school is beneficial. The most important attribute is the ability to work effectively as part of a team supporting students with diverse needs. Teachers who have worked as SENCo or LSC may be suitable, but a passion for collaborative work to overcome barriers to learning is essential. RTLB qualification and experience is desirable, or the successful applicant must undertake two years part-time mandatory postgraduate study. The applicant must hold at least a Bachelor level degree. Applicants must have a full NZ driver's licence and be prepared to use their own vehicle. A travel allowance is paid at 83 cents per kilometer. The Twin Coast Cluster services schools from Waimauku to Wellsford and is centered on the Hibiscus Coast. Although Red Beach School is the Lead School for the Cluster and the employing school, the successful applicant will be positioned in one of our bases at either Parakai or Wellsford, whichever is closest to their home.
