Rova is looking for a Video Podcast Producer who can bring stories to life through high-quality video production, immersive audio imaging, and dynamic social content. In this role, you'll oversee the entire video podcast production process, produce compelling trailers and commercials, and drive audience growth by enhancing rova's digital presence. This is a unique opportunity combining technical skills with creativity to elevate rova's podcast offerings and audience experience.
What you'll do:Reporting to the Podcast Content Director, you'll oversee the full video podcast production process in collaboration with podcast hosts, Content Director and guests to craft visually compelling episodes that resonate with audiences.
Key responsibilities include: Video Production: Shoot, edit, and produce video content for rova podcasts, maintaining high production standards, including soundscapes, effects, and soundtracks, to enhance storytelling.Promotional Content: Create engaging podcast trailers and commercials for both radio and online platforms to attract new listeners.Live Streaming: Manage the live streaming of video podcasts, ensuring smooth technical operations and maintaining high production values.Advanced Editing: Utilize Adobe Premiere Pro, Descript, and sound design tools (e.g., Pro Tools, Audacity) to enhance video and audio elements. Plus leverage generative AI tools for quick content enhancements, including graphics, video upgrades, and social media clips.Sponsorship Integration: Collaborate with the integration team to incorporate sponsor and client deliverables seamlessly into video and audio content.On-Set Production: Manage in-studio and on-location setups, including lighting, audio, and camera operation, for optimal production quality.What you'll bring:You will have graduated with a Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Broadcasting, Digital Media Production, Audio Engineering, or a related field. Have 1 to 2 years experience in video production, sound design, and promotional content creation, ideally within podcasting or digital media.
Technical Proficiency: Skilled in Adobe Premiere Pro, Descript, Pro Tools, Audacity, or similar tools, with a strong understanding of lighting, sound effects, and mixing.
Creative Mindset: Ability to produce compelling content that drives audience growth and engagement.
Organized and Detail-Oriented: Able to manage multiple projects, maintain high standards, and ensure timely delivery.
Share your portfolio or links that show off your storytelling skills and visual creativity.
Awesome Approach: You are proactive with a high degree of initiative and a can-do, will-do attitude. Confident to manage a variety of tasks at the same time, prioritising projects and workload, to achieve successful outcomes in a timely manner.
