We are currently looking for a Rope Access Technician to join our Wellington-based team. You will work on wind turbines at Wind Farms and carry out the inspection and maintenance of customers' assets across multiple locations around New Zealand including Wellington, Taranaki, Hawkes Bay, Waikato, Manawatu, and Southland.We offer:A permanent full-time position; guaranteed 40 hours per week Monday to FridayA competitive salary ($35 - $50 per hour) and overtime rateAll the tools of trade you need to do your jobA Safety-First work environmentRequirements:At least 2 years of experience in a similar roleA Blade B, C, D, or GWO blade repair certificationA Rope Access qualification (ideally IRATA)Experience with fiberglass repairGood physical fitnessA full driver's licenseFlexibility to travel throughout New Zealand as requiredA team player who understands the importance of teamworkGood communication skills (verbal and written)Familiar and compliant with industry personal protective requirementsUnderstanding of HSE responsibilitiesDesirable Experience:Applying Leading Edge ProtectionRigging and LiftingLEP installation and LPSDuties + Responsibilities:Carrying out blade repairs on wind turbines and inspection and maintenance of customer assets using rope access, access platforms, EWPs, and on-the-groundMaintaining work logs and records of works undertaken for quality assuranceManaging workplace hazards, health and safety, quality, and efficiency according to SRG requirementsBuilding strong working relationships with stakeholdersAttending training courses and seminars relevant to the job to maintain and develop skills and knowledgeAbout us:SRG Global is a diversified industrial services company.
