Rope Access Technician

Minimum Requirements:
Minimum 40 hours per week guaranteed 6am-5pm,
Monday to Friday and on occasion any other hours including weekends as required on a reasonable basis by the business.
Employee may be required to travel periodically to perform duties.
Applicants must have New Zealand Residency or a valid work visa.
Shortlisted candidates must be prepared to undergo and pass pre-employment police check and medical assessment including a drug and alcohol test.
Position Requirements:
Experience in the Geotechnical Construction Industry preferred but not necessary.
Hold valid Trade qualification or willingness to obtain one.
Hold valid Driver license or ability to obtain one.
Be physically fit; the job requires heavy lifting.
Demonstrate a good track record in technical delivery and paperwork.
Good attitude toward Health and Safety.
Good communication skills.
Preferable:
Experience in using rotary A frame drilling platforms.
Experience in construction of rock catch fences, meshing and bolting, grouting and scaling.
Experience in the use of telehandlers and EWP's.
Experience of drilling using excavator or tracked drill rigs.
First aid and site safe/construct safe qualifications.
