Rope Access Technician

Details of the offer

We are currently looking for a Rope Access Technician to join our Wellington-based team.
You will work on wind turbines at Wind Farms and carry out the inspection and maintenance of customer assets across multiple locations around New Zealand including Wellington, Taranaki, Hawkes Bay, Waikato, Manawatu, and Southland.
We offer: A permanent full-time position; guaranteed 40 hours per week Monday to Friday A competitive salary ($35 - $50 per hour) and overtime rate All the tools of trade you need to do your job A Safety-First work environment Requirements: At least 2 years of experience in a similar role A Blade B, C, D, or GWO blade repair certification A Rope Access qualification (ideally IRATA) Experience with fiberglass repair Good physical fitness A full driver's license Flexibility to travel throughout New Zealand as required A team player who understands the importance of teamwork Good communication skills (verbal and written) Familiar and compliant with industry personal protective requirements Understanding of HSE responsibilities Desirable Experience: Applying Leading Edge Protection Rigging and Lifting LEP installation and LPS Duties + Responsibilities: Carrying out blade repairs on wind turbines and inspection and maintenance of customer assets using rope access, access platforms, EWPs, and on-the-ground Maintaining work logs and records of works undertaken for quality assurance Managing workplace hazards, health and safety, quality, and efficiency according to SRG requirements Building strong working relationships with stakeholders Attending training courses and seminars relevant to the job to maintain and develop skills and knowledge About us: SRG Global is a diversified industrial services company.
