Room Attendant

Scenic Hotel Group – Queenstown, South Island
Location: 27 Stanley Street, Queenstown 9300
Employment Type: Full-Time, Fixed Term position.
Hours of Work: Guaranteed a minimum of 30 hours per week, on a rotating roster, including weekends from Monday - Sunday.
Wage Rate: $25 per hour
Key Tasks & Responsibilities:
Cleaning of rooms, including making beds, replacing linen, disinfecting surfaces, and vacuuming.
Cleaning and tidying of public areas, including the lobby and public toilets.
Re-stocking supplies, including linen and cleaning supplies.
Other cleaning duties including cleaning of carpets, upholstered furniture, and polishing furniture.
Working collectively within a team environment.
Taking a pro-active approach to cleaning of the property, and taking pride in the appearance of the property.
Preferred Skills & Experience:
Prior housekeeping experience is preferred; however, all we ask is that you are punctual, well presented, friendly with a warm personality, flexible in availability, and have a keen eye for detail. Full on-the-job training will be provided, so this is a great opportunity to learn new skills and develop your career.
