About The Role - Te mahi We are currently seeking applications for our Room Attendant roles at our Beautiful Sudima Christchurch City Hotel.
These entry-level roles do not require any prior hotel experience as full training will be provided. You will however need to have a positive attitude, be fit and active for the role, reliable, and embrace our company values.
If you come from years of experience, we would love to have you on the team and value the expertise you bring.
This is a casual or fixed-term role paying $25.15 per hour. We also have one permanent part-time position available. Weekend availability is essential.

Responsibilities | Nga haepapa Perform related duties and special projects as assigned by the Executive Housekeeping Manager/Supervisors.
Clean and service guest rooms and public areas according to the hotel's standards and procedures, using correct cleaning chemicals for designated surfaces, according to H&S regulations and hotel requirements.
Provide a warm, friendly welcome whenever you contact a guest and assist with directions if needed. Carry out work in a manner least affecting guests.
Ensure and maintain the security of the personal information of guests and team members of the hotel. Report all items of value left by guests and submit to lost & found with information of room number and location found.
Maintain a positive, upbeat attitude when communicating with co-workers and management.

Working as a valuable member of our Housekeeping team, you will be responsible for providing timely, hygienic cleaning, servicing, and presentation of guest rooms and hotel public areas, along with reporting any health and safety issues and maintenance or technical needs within your work area.
Your days will be active but never too busy for a warm welcome to our guests, check-in with your manager or team mates, or a shared lunch with your colleagues to celebrate a birthday or a job well done.

All roles require entitlement to legally work in NZ and the ability to pass a police and reference check, with flexibility to work any days of the week including weekends.
