Job Description

The room attendant at the Fairmont Olympic Hotel is responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and overall presentation of guest rooms, maintaining high standards of cleanliness, and providing exceptional service to hotel guests. The room attendant plays a crucial role in creating a positive and comfortable experience for guests during their stay.

Qualifications

Your experience and skills include: Previous experience as a room attendant or in a similar housekeeping position is preferredStrong attention to detail and the ability to maintain high standards of cleanlinessExcellent time management skills and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environmentGood communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamFlexibility to work different shifts, including weekends and holidaysPhysical stamina and the ability to lift heavy objects and perform repetitive tasksKnowledge of proper handling and usage of cleaning chemicals and equipmentRequired to hold valid US work authorizationPhysical requirements include: This job requires constant standing, walking, bending, and twisting. Must be able to lift at least 30 lbs. Must be physically capable of performing duties which involve repetitive bending, kneeling, pushing, pulling and lifting of heavy objects.
