Job Description: We are seeking a skilled and experienced Roofer to join our Roofing team in Christchurch.
The ideal candidate will have over 2 years of experience in roofing, with a strong background in working at heights, operating Elevated Work Platforms (EWP), and handling various commercial roofing projects.
Proficiency in multiple roofing profiles is essential.
Key Responsibilities: Install, repair, and maintain various types of roofing systems on commercial buildings.Work at heights safely and efficiently, following all safety protocols and regulations.Operate Elevated Work Platforms (EWP) as required for specific tasks.Handle multiple roofing profiles, including but not limited to metal, tile, asphalt, and membrane roofs.Inspect roofing systems for damage and wear, and provide accurate assessments and recommendations for repairs or replacements.Collaborate with other team members and contractors to ensure projects are completed on time and to the highest standards.Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition.Adhere to all company policies and safety guidelines.Qualifications and Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in roofing.Proven experience in working at heights and operating Elevated Work Platforms (EWP).Extensive commercial roofing experience.Proficiency in multiple roofing profiles.Strong understanding of roofing techniques, materials, and safety standards.Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.Good physical condition and the ability to work in various weather conditions.Certifications: Working at Heights certification.EWP (Elevated Work Platform) certification.Any other relevant certifications are a plus.Personal Attributes: Reliable and punctual.Strong work ethic and a positive attitude.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Good communication skills.How to Apply: Interested candidates are invited to submit their resume and a brief cover letter outlining their relevant experience and qualifications to [email address] by [application deadline].
