The hands of peace are the hands of love Te Taiwhenua o Heretaunga (TToH) is a whanau focused, kaupapa Maori values based, health and social services organisation providing professional health services to our local Hawkes Bay community and wider Kahungunu rohe from Wairoa to Wairarapa. Our health, social, education and community development teams have been working successfully with whanau for over 38 years. Reporting to the Team Manager – Taiora Community, we are looking for a Rongoa Practitioner who will provide culturally responsive and respectful care and treatment to whanau involving Karakia, Mirimiri and Whitiwhiti korero. You will help motivate whanau to make positive lifestyle changes, reduce high-risk behaviours, manage stress and improve their health and well-being. You will provide care in accordance with the Tikanga a Rongoa Standards (aligned with the Health and Disability Service Standards) and the agreed service specifications for Rongoa Maori Traditional Healing. This is a part time role, one day a week (8 hours) for a fixed term from May 2024 till June 2025.
