Cyclic Operators Needed We're looking for passionate individuals who aren't afraid to get their hands dirty and working outdoors all year around! About the role:Patrol designated roads and conduct routine and emergency maintenance all over Waikato, ensuring the safety and well-being of the public. Identify any safety or significant faults and repair them on the network.Patrol and inspect the various roading assets.Responding to customer requests.Pothole repairs of both sealed and unsealed roads.Clearing of vegetation and litter collection.Clearing obstructions from carriageway, footpaths, and drainage systemsCleaning and maintaining culvert inlets and outlets.After hours emergency response Important Skills You will have a can-do attitude and a willingness to get stuck into whatever task may be at hand. You will also:Hold a New Zealand Class 1 Drivers Licence. (Class 2 advantage)Experience in a range of road maintenance activitiesBe able to identify and rate faults.Show good initiative and be confident in decision making and problem solving.Have an organised and systematic approach to completing work, able to work in a small crew.Confident communicating with the public and management.Strong planning skills including good verbal and written communication skills. We are committed to a safe working environment for everyone - all successful applicants will be required to undertake a pre-employment drug test, medical and a Ministry of Justice check prior to starting employment.If you feel confident that you poses the drive and enthusiasm to take on this role, please forward your CV to
