Roading Foreman

Wilson Contractors is a well-established locally owned and operated company who specialise in civil contracting delivering a range of services including bulk earthworks, roading, drainage, infrastructure and site works throughout Central Otago, Lakes District and Southland since 2003.
We are currently looking for a Roading Foreman / Supervisor for our Queenstown Lakes branch who can lead a team on various projects throughout the Queenstown Lakes District and Central Otago.
We are looking for a permanent fulltime role, working Monday-Friday with some Saturdays if required, minimum of 80 hours per fortnight.
The ideal candidate will have: ·         Suitable experience in the Civil Construction industry ·         Experience in civil road construction from subgrade to road prep and sealing methods ·         A focus on keeping our people and environment safe ·         Excellent leadership and communication skills that empower others ·         Proactive, self-motivated, and results orientated ·         The ability to listen, plan, problem solve and make decisions ·         A current NZ drivers' licence (Class 4) with WTR endorsements ·         Deliver projects to a high standard   In return Wilson Contractors offers the following benefits: ·         Company vehicle ·         Paid travel ·         Healthcare Insurance ·         Family atmosphere, good support, and great people Applicants for this position should have NZ residency or a valid NZ work visa.
