Through integration and collaboration, we're building a health system underpinned by partnership, equity, sustainability, whanau-centred care, and excellence.About the RoleNelson Hospital Theatre Suite consists of 6 Operating Theatres with a Recovery Room, a Sterile Services department, and Endoscopy suite. Shifts are rostered and rotating across Sunday to Monday with on-call after hours.About the Team/LocationWe are a friendly and supportive team focusing on providing a caring and professional environment, delivering quality care and extended nursing practice.About youCompetency with te ao Maori, tikanga, and te reo Maori or a commitment to starting your journey and taking ownership of your learning and growth.Experience in projects/initiatives which give effect to Te Tiriti principles and frameworks, and the application of Matauranga Maori and Kaupapa Maori approaches, particularly as they apply in healthcare settings.You will be a NZ Registered Nurse with a current APC and post-registration experience working with a multi-disciplinary perioperative team.You will have a positive attitude, an innovative and adaptable approach to practice, excellent communication skills, and a real commitment to providing quality patient-centred care.You will also be a team player, who enjoys keeping up to date with clinical practice, with excellent organisational and time management skills.Working for Health New ZealandHealth New Zealand | Te Whatu Ora is 'the weaving of wellnesses.'
