Nelson Hospital Theatre Suite consists of 6 Operating Theatres with a Recovery Room, a Sterile Services department, and an Endoscopy suite. Shifts are rostered and rotating across Monday to Sunday with on-call after hours.

You will be a NZ Registered Nurse with a current APC.Post-registration experience working with a multi-disciplinary perioperative team.You will have a positive attitude, an innovative and adaptable approach to practice, excellent communication skills, and a real commitment to providing quality patient-centred care.You will also be a team player, who enjoys keeping up to date with clinical practice, with excellent organisational and time management skills.Competency with te ao Maori, tikanga, and te reo Maori or a commitment to starting your journey and taking ownership of your learning and growth.Experience in projects/initiatives which give effect to Te Tiriti principles and frameworks, and the application of Matauranga Maori and Kaupapa Maori approaches, particularly as they apply in healthcare settings.Working for Health New Zealand Health New Zealand | Te Whatu Ora is dedicated to ensuring excellent healthcare for the people of Aotearoa/New Zealand.
