About the Role
The Assessment Treatment and Rehabilitation Unit (AT&R) provides inpatient rehabilitation for adult patients who present with a broad range of medical, surgical and cognitive conditions e.g. stroke, post fracture and delirium. Our patients may be admitted directly from the community or come to us from the acute wards.
About the Team/Location
Te Whatu Ora (Nelson Marlborough) is the main health provider for Te Tau Ihu, the top of the south. Nearly 3,000 strong, we are Nelson and Marlborough's largest employer. Our main locations are Nelson and Wairau Hospitals, and the Richmond and Marlborough Health Hubs, but we are spread across the region and service all parts of the community. About you
Competency with te ao Maori, tikanga, and te reo Maori or a commitment to starting your journey and taking ownership of your learning and growth
Experience in projects/initiatives which give effect to Te Tiriti principles and frameworks, and the application of Matauranga Maori and Kaupapa Maori approaches, particularly as they apply in healthcare settings.
You will have robust clinical knowledge and want to work in a dynamic and supportive multidisciplinary team that provides high quality rehabilitation services to older adults.
