Known for their interpersonal skills and ability to run interactive and engaging workshops, you will play a key role in driving forward community resilience planning across the district.You will be part of the Council's Risk team working to drive excellent risk management practices within teams across the Council as well as building internal service resilience to disruption.The successful candidate will have:An understanding of emergency management and community resilience.Experience with community planning and running workshops.An understanding of risk management practices.Excellent written and verbal communications skills.An innovative and proactive approach to solving problems.Situated in the heart of Ngati Kahungunu, the Hastings district and Hawke's Bay offer an enjoyable environment in which to live, work and play.
