Risk Adviser (Insurance Broker)

Details of the offer

Add expected salary to your profile for insights.
At Donaldson Brown, we've turned Insurance broking on its head and created a brand that our clients trust - so much so, we're proud to be New Zealand's largest 100% kiwi-owned and operated brokerage.
Our secret sauce?
It's a blend of client-centricity, a focus on risk and advisory rather than simply insurance broking, and a transparent fee structure which make our teams truly thrive.
We're now seeking a dynamic and experienced Risk Adviser in our Christchurch team.
As an integral member of our team, you'll be responsible for the management and growth of a diverse portfolio of clients.
Your ability to build genuine connections, provide great advice and hold authentic conversations will set you apart.
As well as meeting KPIs and upholding our values, your commitment to professionalism and focus on driving towards our shared objectives are crucial.
Our relationships with insurers are also important to us, and you will be experienced at building trust and working closely with our insurance partners whilst keeping up to date with industry developments.
We're different from the rest - we empower and support you to perform in your role so you can build on your relational engagement skills and foster long-lasting relationships.
Our tried and tested approach has proven to be incredibly successful time and time again.
To thrive in this role, you will:

have a minimum of 4 years insurance and risk advisory (broker/account manager) experience, preferably with mid-sized or large client accounts
hold certification in Financial Services (Level 5)
enjoy a fast-paced, dynamic environment, and be curious with a desire to grow
display initiative, be proactive and a natural problem solver
be an expert communicator and able to work collaboratively

In return, you will receive a benefits package that is second to none, including: flexible working, access to our group medical scheme, eligibility for our structured incentive programme, extra leave at Christmas, and a range of other health and wellbeing benefits.
If you're ready to make a significant impact in insurance and disrupt the status quo, we want to hear from you.
Apply now!
To be eligible for this opportunity you must be a New Zealand citizen, resident or hold a valid NZ work visa.
Sponsorship for this role is unfortunately unavailable.
