Ris/Pacs Administrator Medical Imaging Technologist

PACS Medical Imaging Technologist Radiology Departments, Waitemata District Permanent, full time role (1 FTE) 0.8 FTE PACS, 0.2 FTE Clinical The Radiology Departments across North Shore & Waitakere Hospitals are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced PACS Medical Imaging Technologist to join their team. This role supports and works alongside the RIS / PACS Team Lead in the maintenance and operational efficiency of the Te Whatu Ora Waitemata Radiology IT systems & Digital Radiology Equipment. A key part of the role is assisting with operational service efficiency, providing assistance and support to clinical staff in the department, and ensuring a high quality, customer-focused service is provided. The successful applicant will hold a Bachelor of Health Science - Medical Imaging (or equivalent), current registration with the NZMRTB, and be enrolled in a recognised Continuing Professional Development programme. Experience with Health Applications, Radiology Information Systems, and a demonstrated ability to work within a collaborative team are also a must. Ideally, the successful applicant will also have a minimum of 2 years post graduate experience as an MIT, and experience of PACS Administration.
