Live the dream! We're on the lookout for a Duty Manager to join our high energy bar in the heart of Queenstown! We are offering above market pay rates and staff accommodation for the right candidate.
The Role
We're on the hunt for highly skilled managers with the potential to be future leaders of the company. If you feel like you've hit the ceiling in your current role or are looking for a change with rapid progression in hospitality, then you've come to the right place. You will learn everything you need to know to run a successful hospitality business with us.
The Pay
Competitive pay and transparency in how to move up, fast! Starting on $28-$33 per hour depending on experience.
Time and half after 1am on the late party nights.
Accommodation
If you are requiring accommodation, we are offering long-term accommodation in a fully furnished shared twin room with linen for $200 a week, or a single room for $300 a week. Short-term accommodation is also available at $275 for the twin room, and $400 for a single room.
You will:
Ensure the environment within the site is always top notch.
Guarantee the customer journey for your outlet is being followed by all team members.
Make sure quality of products, plus waiting times exceed expectation.
Take responsibility for daily/weekly procedures including ordering, receiving, and stock take.
Lead your team, provide feedback, and set a high example by always operating above the line.
Skills / Experience / What we are looking for
Some management experience in a hospitality venue with a team larger than 5.
Excellent presentation and strong clear communication.
Leadership, energy, and enthusiasm; if you've been a leader in a sports team, school, university, or volunteer organization, that is great.
A manager's certificate or LCQ.
Long-term commitment to the position.
