WHAT YOU'LL GET TO DO: The RF Engineer I works under the guidance of the RF Development Team Lead and isresponsible for supporting all aspects of the design, development and verification of RFcommunications and navigation systems for Rocket Lab's satellites and spacecraft. The RFEngineer I applies best practice systems engineering principles across development projects toensure systems are subjected to an appropriately rigorous engineering process, comply withrequirements and are ultimately fit for purpose. You will be challenged daily and to succeed youwill need to adapt quickly and thrive under pressure to achieve tight project deadlines.
YOU'LL BRING THESE QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelors degree or diploma in Engineering, majoring in electronics/communications/RF (or an equivalent qualification)Fundamental knowledge of RF communications methods and techniques such as modulation types, channel coding techniques and multiple access schemesAbility to perform system level RF analyses such as cascaded device analysis and link analysisExperience applying best practice systems engineering process and developing associated documentationThe ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlinesEffective communication skills and the ability to build strong working relationshipsIf the above sounds like you,apply now!
