Rewarding Maintenance Manager Opportunity!Today Homes is a well-established and well-respected family owned and operated Canterbury home building company, having been in the industry for more than 35 years and completed over 2500 homes during that time. We are one of the largest standalone residential building companies in Canterbury with a high reputation for customer satisfaction. We have a vibrant and friendly team with many staff members having been with us for 10 years or more. With large numbers of enquiries from potential clients every day and new builds coming through our system, we require the services of a Maintenance Manager to manage the post handover customer care process.Are you the right fit for the Today Homes team? A proactive and detail-oriented mindset, with a strong focus on delivering exceptional results.Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to effectively collaborate with clients and team members.Good knowledge of the current building code and regulations.Ability to work well, work alone sometimes and deliver under pressure to deadlines.A building background is preferred.An energetic and well presented person.Personally driven and motivated, wanting to achieve success.Your new role:Conducting walk-through inspections of completed residential homes to view any warranty issues or homeowner concerns.Resolve minor maintenance issues around the house while attending walk-throughs (practical skills required).Coordinating with subcontractors and clients to schedule and complete necessary repairs or replacements as required.Strong technical skills to identify or analyze the cause of any issues around the house.Prompt viewing, sending out, and following up of all maintenance items to ensure their required completion timeframes are met.Assisting with document sending correspondence to and from clients.Updating internal management maintenance progress reports daily.Identifying, solving, and resolving issues that may arise at a later date by looking back on the job file/working drawings/documents available.Maintaining frequent contact (in person/phone/email) with owners during any maintenance work.Maintaining detailed notes and photos upon each home inspection/visit and attaching these to the office files & database.General computer and other administrative duties (Outlook, Word & Excel etc).
