A bit about the role…
In this role, not only will you need to have strong personal values that align with ours, but you will also need a work ethic that is second to none, as this will be the true key to your success at Mitre 10 MEGA Upper Hutt.
Combining your strong retail background and your ability to take the initiative, this role will see you assist the Retail Manager in leading an already established team and demonstrating your ability to challenge, motivate, and drive the team in a fast-paced and fun environment, delivering exceptional customer service to our customers.
The hours for the position are:
Tuesday 6.30am - 3.30pm
Wednesday 9.30am - 6.15pm
Thursday 9.00am - 5.00pm
Friday 10.00am - 6.00pm
Saturday 9.30am - 6.15pm
This will see you taking accountability for:
Assisting in managing and maintaining the department
Working with the Retail Manager to continually improve stock availability and inventory controls
Assisting the Retail Manager to ensure team members provide the best customer service possible
Promoting a team culture that encourages a positive working environment
We are looking for someone with:
Retail leadership experience
Strong organizational skills
The ability to manage a varied and busy workload
A friendly and outgoing personality and great communication skills
Excellence in sales with the ability to assess customer needs and a passion for providing a high-quality customer experience
A desire to achieve targets and drive performance daily
High levels of energy and self-motivation
