Experience: 3 years experience in the retail sector or 1 year experience as a duty manager will be preferred.
Qualifications: Level 5 or above business/management/hospitality qualifications may be desirable.
Must have completed Serve-Wise, Liquor License Qualification (LCQ).
Duty Manager certificate is preferred or eligible to obtain one.
Ability to remain calm under work pressure, willing to do the extra to ensure the most productive day.
Good understanding of language and communication skills that satisfy customer requirements by paying attention to details.
Must have good work ethics and a desire to understand the industry and aim to learn and grow together.
Flexible in working long hours when required, which may include on-call starts, early morning starts, late finishes, working on weekends, and public holidays.
Must be knowledgeable about office work such as ordering stock, stock taking, inventory control management, vendor dealing, and supplier selection.
Must have knowledge of cash handling, float management, and health and safety to ensure smooth operations.
Provide training, guidance, and continuous product specification to respective staff.
An ideal applicant must have a full car license.
Must be available to work long weekends and evening shifts.
Highly preferable if the applicant has any management or business qualification.
Develop and maintain a schedule for management and employees.
Maintain optimal inventory levels, ensure stocking, implement stock plans, and maintain contact with suppliers to ensure maximum efficiency.
Manage costs and maintain profitability. Ensure the store remains clean and presentable at all times.
We pay market-leading pay rates of $29.66 to $32.50 per hour depending on experience/qualifications.
Minimum guaranteed hours per week will be 30. However, maximum hours can go up to 45 hours.
