Description Our client is looking for a dedicated leader to drive success, inspire the team, and deliver outstanding customer experiences.
Responsibilities: Oversee daily operations and support complementary services at the visitor centre.
Foster a supportive environment by developing and growing the skills of retail and visitor centre staff, promoting teamwork and positive employment practices.
Contribute to visitor centre plans and budgets and manage the retail stores' operational strategy and financial plans.
Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders.
Take on the role of Visitor Centre Duty Manager when scheduled, overseeing all operational aspects.
Adhere to all relevant legislation, including Health & Safety regulations.
Undertake specific responsibilities to ensure the staff's administration runs smoothly.
Continuously improve and develop your skills through training and professional development opportunities.
What We're Looking For: A commitment to delivering genuine visitor experiences and outstanding customer service.
Basic knowledge of Te Reo Maori and a willingness to improve.
Qualifications / Experience: Previous Retail Store Manager experience is advantageous.
Previous experience in hospitality/tourism, management, supervision, and training staff.
Willingness to train or study towards attaining relevant certificates or qualifications.
Must hold a clean class 1 driver's licence.
Must hold current Food Handling and First Aid Certificates.
Must hold a Licence Controller Qualification and Manager's Certificate.
Health and Safety experience with the relevant qualification.
