One of our brands is J'AIME - established in 2008, J'AIME has specialised in french macarons and contemporary treats. We've expanded our offerings to include a variety of delectable treats, and our kitchen and headquarters have become a bustling hub for pastry chefs, experienced bakers, customer service professionals, and marketing specialists.This year we have undertaken a beautiful refresh of our brand, look, feel and product offering. We are now entering a strategic growth phase - as part of this, we are embarking on a 6 month pop-up style concept store in Commercial Bay, Auckland. We are putting together a fabulous sales team to help make our entry into the Auckland market a success.Our stores are where the magic comes to life for our customers. Our customers are our reason for being, and we have our store teams to thank for bringing their passion and energy into work every day and enabling our customers to experience and enjoy the very best of J'AIME.What We're Looking ForThis is a 6 month contract, with the potential to extend or become permanent for our perfect candidate. The role begins late January, with our new store opening early February.We are seeking a passionate and driven Retail Sales Manager to lead our vibrant team at J'AIME, in Commercial Bay, Auckland. This full-time position offers an exciting opportunity to represent one of New Zealand's premier patisserie brands. You will play a key role in delivering exceptional customer service, driving sales, and sharing the unique story behind our exclusive collections of treats.Retail Experience: A background in retail sales, particularly in luxury goods is preferred but not essential for the right candidate.Sales Focus: The ability to achieve and exceed sales targets, and provide meaningful working reports to management.Client Relationship Building: Proven ability to establish and nurture strong, lasting relationships with clients.Excellent Communication Skills: Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to engage clients and team members alike, and portray a genuine enthusiasm for our brand and products.Team Leadership: The ability to train, mentor, and motivate a team to achieve incredible results, and maintain our brand standards.Culinary Expertise: Previous experience in the culinary industry is an advantage, though not essential. A genuine passion for fine food and a desire to learn is key.Visual Merchandising: A keen eye for detail and a strong sense of style to ensure that the store consistently reflects the luxury standards of our brand.Team & Independent Work: Ability to work both autonomously and as part of a collaborative team, displaying flexibility in a dynamic retail environment.Professional Presentation: A polished, well-groomed appearance that reflects the sophistication and elegance of the J'AIME brand.We OfferAt J'AIME, we value and invest in our people.
